Holy Bleedin Jaysus
Downstairs @ The Pint Bar & Venue
Holy Bleedin’ Jaysus began in 2009 with a group of lads playing ballads and trad into the early hours. A shared interest in folk and ballads encouraged the formation of the band. They have progressed rapidly and now play a varied mixture of Irish, English and Scottish folk alongside original material. They secured their first residency in The Pint on Eden Quay in September ’09 and were soon offered a second residency at The Ball Alley in Lucan. Between these gigs they also play regularly at various venues across Dublin. They have also played at several independent festivals including No Place Like Dome in Sligo and HealyFest in Mayo.

Big Priest
Downstairs @ The Pint Bar & Venue
Big Priest is a high-octane garage rock band that plays a fusion of rock, rhythm, and blues, all with a punkish undercut. Inspired by the Delta Blues spirit of borrowing, their music recycles 50’s, 60’s and 70’s Rock n’ Roll into unique, raw adaptations. In a world where “being original” has become the hackneyed phrase of the boardroom Big Priest prefer to think of themselves as disciples, devotees and celebrants of the music that excites them.
Fundamentally a live band, their show is a celebration of high volume, high commitment music, with healthy lashings of sweat, grime, and beer. They believe music belongs not to the market, but to the juke-joint, the bar, the centre of decadent community, where all the best plots unravel in the best possible way.
